Heavy-Duty Hurricane Impact Solutions for Global Projects
Royal Windoor US manufactures extreme-weather fenestration systems tailored for severe storm zones, coastal developments, and high-rise architectural facades worldwide. By integrating high-tensile structural aluminum alloys with SentryGlas® and PVB laminated glazing, our impact envelopes maintain building structural integrity against cataclysmic storm conditions while delivering superior energy efficiency.
Engineered Against Extreme Pressure & Debris
Catastrophic structural failures during tropical storms occur when wind breaches window openings, pressurizing building interiors from within. Royal Windoor impact windows utilize extruded 6063-T5 aluminum framing reinforced with heavy corner keys and internal steel stiffeners, certified to endure continuous wind pressures up to DP90 (+90/-90 PSF).
SentryGlas® & Multi-Layer PVB Interlayers
Our impact-resistant glass configurations incorporate laminated build-ups using PVB or DuPont SentryGlas® (SGP) ionoplast interlayers. Even when struck by high-velocity wind-borne debris, the broken glass fragments bond securely to the structural interlayer, preserving wind and water seals under severe conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions for Overseas Procurement
Our impact systems are manufactured to satisfy international building standards including ASTM E1886/E1996 missile impact testing, Florida Building Code (FBC) guidelines, NFRC thermal ratings, and ISO 9001 quality management benchmarks. Test certificates and physical lab documentation are provided with commercial orders.
Standard tempered glass disintegrates into tiny dull pebbles upon high-velocity impact, leaving an open building envelope. Laminated impact glass incorporates a tough structural polymer interlayer (PVB/SGP) sandwiched between glass panes; when fractured, the shattered glass fragments adhere securely to the interlayer, sustaining structural protection against wind, rain, and debris.
For high-salinity island and coastal marine environments, we apply marine-grade AkzoNobel PVDF fluorocarbon coatings (exceeding AAMA 2605 requirements) and supply 316-grade stainless steel hardware components to resist pitting and salt-spray corrosion.
Standard production cycles range between 3 to 6 weeks from shop drawing approval. We coordinate full container loads (FCL) or less-than-container loads (LCL) directly from our manufacturing facilities with complete export documentation and sea-freight logistics support.
